Silverstone are seeking an experienced Underground Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to support an ASX-listed gold miner in the Goldfields.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring underground and surface plant are maintained to the highest standards. Safety, reliability, and production efficiency are at the forefront of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair underground NOV and Challenge pumps
- Service, troubleshoot and perform breakdown or preventative maintenance on underground pumps, pipelines, valves, sumps, and associated mechanical systems
- Relocate pumps as underground development progresses
- Maintain NOV and Challenge pump systems
- Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs to minimise downtime and maximise plant availability
- Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering parts, processing maintenance orders, and recording hours in SAP
- Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental procedures
