We are currently hiring for an experienced Underground Engineering Superintendent join our Freeport Indonesia Project in Central Papua. With flights provided from your point of hire to site, on a 5/4 roster, with 12-hour shifts.

Roles and Responsibilities:





- Ensure that all work in your area is done safely – procedures followed so that productivities are achieved without incident
- Plan tasks for the shift in conjunction with the engineers and planners
- Provide viable and practical engineering support to ensure alignment between planning and execution
- Direction and supervision of workers employed in your project area
- Maintain strong engagement with the development teams to ensure plans are understood and achievable
- Attend pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and safety meetings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum 8 years’ experience in underground mining with an in-depth understanding
- Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
- Experience using Deswik Ops & Deswik MDM highly desirable
- Experience using Pitram
- Ability to analyze and evaluate multifaceted situations to determine the secure and productive methods for completion of the work.
- Ability to actively seek and implement opportunities to improve safety and productivity
- High attention to detail
