We are seeking Site Supervisors and Lead Hands to cover projects across North Brisbane. Immediate starts available.

About the role
My client is a Brisbane-based civil contractor, who is growing their team. Looking for experienced Lead Hands and Site Supervisors to join them on a variety of civil projects across North Brisbane.
You’ll be the person on site who keeps the job moving. That means leading your crew, coordinating plant and subcontractors, and making sure the work is delivered safely, on time and on budget.

What you’ll be doing
Leading and managing a crew on civil construction projects
Running daily toolbox meetings and pre-starts
Coordinating plant, materials, orders and subcontractors
Liaising with clients, project managers and other stakeholders
Making sure all work meets safety, quality and program requirements
Operating machinery when required
Keeping the job and your crew safe

About you
Proven experience as a Lead Hand or Site Supervisor in civil construction
TMR (Transport and Main Roads) experience or subdivision experience.



Having both is a bonus.
Solid people skills, with the ability to run a team and get the best out of them
Sound knowledge of civil construction, including earthworks, drainage, roadworks or subdivision works
A solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Good communication and organisational skills, and confident with emails, orders and scheduling
Current Queensland driver’s licence
Relevant tickets and licences, such as a White Card, First Aid and plant tickets. A Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision is highly regarded.
