About the role
We're looking for a highly motivated Quality & WHS Coordinator to help us build products we're proud of, in a workplace where everyone goes home safe. You'll split your time between quality control and work health and safety, working closely with production staff and management.
Key responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, work in progress and finished products against specifications
Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality records
Identify, record and follow up non-conformances and customer complaints
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Help maintain our quality system, including internal audits
Carry out workplace inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments
Investigate incidents and near misses, and follow up corrective actions
Maintain WHS records, including hazard reports,
incident registers and the chemical register and Safety Data Sheets
Help develop and review secure work procedures and SOPs
Run toolbox talks and support WHS inductions for new starters and contractors
About you
Experience in a quality, WHS or production role in manufacturing
Practical knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management
Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
Confident reading drawings and specifications and using measuring tools
Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
Clear communicator who can work with production teams to solve problems
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or working towards it) is highly regarded
Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 45001 is highly regarded
A current first aid certificate is an advantage
