Our client in Penrith is looking for an experienced Head Cook to take charge of their kitchen. If you love cooking fresh, nutritious meals and want a role where you can run your own kitchen and follow a varied monthly menu, this one is for you.

About the role
Head Cook position, Monday to Friday
4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week
Permanent part-time
Plan and prepare meals from a rotating monthly menu
Work in a well-stocked kitchen, so you can focus on cooking outstanding food

What’s on offer
Up to $35 per hour
If you hold a relevant qualification, you can pick up extra hours on the floor in the afternoons




Permanent full-time is also available for the right person in a dual role
Consistent weekday hours for a positive work-life balance

About you
Previous experience as a centre cook
Able to plan and follow a set menu
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Organised, reliable and able to work on your own
A relevant qualification is highly regarded (you’ll need it to pick up the afternoon floor hours)
