Wild Life Bakery is looking for an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. We’re a small, retail-focused bakery in Brunswick East, specialising in sourdough bread, pastries, and a simple café menu built around our own bread and high-quality ingredients.

We care about consistency, good produce, and doing simple things well. This role would suit someone with solid kitchen experience who enjoys working in a small team, can stay organised under pressure, and takes pride in quality and attention to detail.

The Role

As a Cook at Wild Life Bakery, you’ll be responsible for preparing our daily kitchen offering, including sandwiches and savoury items, alongside managing prep and maintaining consistent service across the day.

You’ll work closely with our kitchen and bakery teams to keep things running smoothly, ensuring prep is well managed and service is efficient and consistent.

This is a daytime role and weekend availability is required

About You




Previous experience working as a cook or chef in a commercial kitchen
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage prep alongside service
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
Reliable, efficient, and consistent in your work
A genuine interest in good food and quality ingredients
Must have unrestricted Australian work rights
