Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant — Two Positions Available

Part time: 2 days per week, Monday and Friday

Full-time: 4 days per week

Are you a friendly, organised and proactive dental skilled who enjoys both patient interaction and clinical work?

Lincoln Road Dental, a well-established three-chair dental practice in Essendon, is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team for either two days a week (Monday and Friday) or 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday Thursday and Friday)

About the Role

This is a varied position combining front desk responsibilities with chairside dental assisting. We're looking for someone who is confident working across both areas, takes initiative and enjoys contributing to the smooth running of a busy dental practice.

Your Responsibilities
Welcoming patients and providing excellent front desk service
Managing appointments, patient enquiries, payments and recalls
Coordinating appointment books to support efficient clinical workflows
Providing chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists as required




Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
Preparing surgeries and anticipating clinicians' needs
Supporting the wider team with daily practice operations and administration

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
Previous experience in dental reception and/or dental assisting (essential)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy practice
A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Reliability, professionalism and a positive team-focused approach
Familiarity with dental practice management software
