Warehouse Materials Officer - Aboriginal Identified Role - Entry Level Position

Our client, based in Lytton, QLD, is seeking a Materials Officer to join their site-based warehouse team, supporting secure and effective materials management operations.

About the role
This is an entry level position and full training and support will be provided. _

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing materials and equipment
Operating warehouse and inventory systems
Supporting internal customers with materials and stores-related enquiries
Tracking and maintaining records for non‑catalogued materials
Conducting cyclic stock takes and ensuring inventory accuracy




Completing safe deliveries to operational and site areas
Operating and replenishing toolstore assets
Working in accordance with WHS, HSE and site safety procedures

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:
Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander :
Current Drivers License :
Have experience in warehousing, logistics or materials handling (desirable)
Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills
Be reliable, well organised and safety focused
Be comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft Office
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Forklift license desirable but not essential

Please note that due to our strict Health and Safety policy, you will be required to undertake a physical medical evaluation, along with a drug and alcohol screening test.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
