About the Role We are seeking a Real Estate Trust Accountant responsible for managing trust accounts in line with Australian real estate legislation. The ideal candidate must have solid attention to detail, a solid understanding of trust accounting requirements, and experience using PropertyMe and VaultRE.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily trust accounting activities in compliance with state-based trust accounting regulations.

Process receipts, payments, reconciliations, and adjustments accurately and on time.

Prepare monthly trust account reconciliations and statutory reports.

Monitor trust transactions and ensure all entries are compliant and properly documented.

Resolve discrepancies and liaise with property managers and stakeholders where needed.





Support audits and provide required documentation promptly.

Maintain accurate financial records within PropertyMe and VaultRE.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Trust Accountant in the real estate industry.

Robust knowledge of Australian real estate trust accounting legislation and compliance requirements.

High level of accuracy, time management, and financial discipline.

Robust communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related discipline.

Experience supporting audits and end-of-month processes.
