Medical Receptionist – Casual / Part-time
Bray Park & North Lakes | Approximately 10–20 hours per week

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our general practice team across our Bray Park and North Lakes clinics.

Our reception team plays an significant role in making patients feel welcome and keeping each day running smoothly. This role would suit someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in their work and can confidently manage the demands of a busy practice.

Approximately 10–20 hours per week are available, with shifts across a Monday–Friday roster.

About the role

Your duties will include:
Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional service
Managing appointments and coordinating bookings
Answering phones and responding to patient enquiries
Processing Medicare and private billing
Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
Completing general reception and administrative tasks
Working closely with our doctors, nurses and reception team

About you

Previous medical reception experience is strongly preferred, and experience using Best Practice software will be highly regarded.

Stays organised and prioritises tasks in a busy setting
Shows initiative and follows through on tasks
Works confidently both independently and as part of a team
Has strong attention to detail and understands the importance of patient confidentiality
Flexibility to pick up additional shifts to cover staff leave and absences
