We’re seeking a Hazardous Area Electrician to join our team at Osborne Mine, working FIFO on a 2:1 Roster, earning $68.77 per hour + penalties and allowances.
About the role
Working alongside our supervisors and project teams, you will:
Install, test and maintain electrical equipment in hazardous areas within your competencies and authorisations.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs.
Interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Undertake inspections within your scope of competency and complete accurate inspection and testing records.
Follow applicable electrical standards, hazardous area requirements and site procedures.
Coordinate with other trades to meet project milestones.
FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville only
About you
You will bring:
An electrical trade qualification and a current electrical license applicable to the work location.
Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) competencies relevant to the work.
Practical experience with hazardous area electrical installations and equipment.
$68.77 per hour + penalties
2:1 roster
