Supporting Abilities For Everyone (S.A.F.E) is seeking an experienced disability support worker for a male participant in The Basin, VIC

About Participant:
40 year old male participant with MND diagnosis
Support requirements: assistance around the house/domestic assistance, possibly handyman tasks/projects.
Participant Interests: owns a construction business

About You:
Male support worker
Handyman experience highly advantageous but not required
Can use initiative
MND experience advantageous but not a requirement
Willingness to perform personal care at a later date when required

Shifts Available:
Wednesday's 10:00 am - 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm.
Support requirements expected to increase over time as diagnosis progresses.





Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):
Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
Valid Australian Driver’s License.
A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
The right to work in Australia.

Pay: $41.00 – $80.00 per hour
