Paediatric Dental Specialists is seeking 2 part time Oral Health Therapists to join our supportive team. This unique opportunity has opened up as we prepare for the retirement of one of our long-time, dedicated OHTs in early 2027, creating a wonderful prospect for a smooth transition, mentorship, and a wealth of knowledge-sharing before they wrap up their incredible career with us. You will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and treatment to children and adolescents, supporting our philosophy to establish a trusted dental home for each child through regular maintenance, prevention-focused care, and solid family partnership. This position will see you practice across our three locations—South Perth, Mount Hawthorn, and Karrinyup—on a rolling 4-week roster
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to identify oral health issues
Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address dental problems
Performing a range of dental procedures
Providing patient education on oral hygiene and preventative care
Collaborating with the wider dental team to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
Maintaining detailed patient records and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
What we're looking for
Registered Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist qualification
Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of dental procedures and techniques
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a caring and patient-centric approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong organisational and time management skills
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
