This dynamic, expansive and growing business is currently seeking a proactive, qualified and dedicated Quality Assurance and WHS Officer.

To be successful in this role you will be required to:
Conduct routine and non-routine product quality tests to ensure ongoing compliance to SQF, HACCP and WHS;
Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures;
Conducting label reviews for product and raw materials, packaging and promotional materials
Support with internal and external food safety audits for the site
Assist with investigations of customer complaints and non-conformance issues
Implement and monitor corrective and preventative action
Coordinate training activities to drive quality, food safety, work health and safety, environmental and quality assurance standards
Preparation of routine and non-routine reports to communicate outcomes of quality system




Collect and sample statistical quality data and identify areas for improvement in the quality system

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
Knowledge of HACCP and SQF standards essential
Technical understanding of Quality and Food Safety
Solid verbal and written skills
Proficient document control skills
Good computer literacy – Excel, Word, Outlook
Excellent attention to detail
Experience working within the rapid moving consumer goods industry preferred
Candidate can be in progress studying a Food/Science/Microbiology/Chemistry/Nutrition or Laboratory qualifications or equivalent
