About the Role
Working within a highly skilled production team, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components to exacting tolerances.
Key responsibilities include:
CNC programming, setup and operation of machining centres
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
Performing first-off inspections and quality checks
Selecting tooling, fixtures and machining strategies
Maintaining dimensional accuracy and quality standards
Working collaboratively with engineering and production teams
Adhering to all workplace health, safety and quality requirements

About You To be successful in this role,



you will possess:
Previous experience as a CNC Operator, Setter or Programmer
Strong CNC machining knowledge within a precision manufacturing environment
Experience with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens or similar control systems
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Mandatory Requirements As this position supports projects within the Australian defence sector, applicants must:
Be an Australian Citizen
Be eligible to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
Be willing to undergo pre-employment medical and background screening
