With over 15 years in operation, we provide a mobile marine service to the Greater Hobart region. Based in Kettering, Tasmania, we are seeking a full-time diesel mechanic to join our team.
Key responsibilities
Inspect and repair diesel engines of all brands
Travel between sites (van provided)
Diagnostic and troubleshooting
Marine engine rebuilds
Marine 12V electrical works and repairs
Routine repairs and servicing
Keep detailed and accurate job reports
Collaborate within team of diesel mechanics and apprentice
Follow safety standards and procedures
About you
Solid mechanical knowledge
Customer service skills
Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Able to rebuild and install engines
Understanding of 12-24V electrical systems
Valid driver's licence
Problem solving and attention to detail
Mechanical qualification and marine experience preferred
