Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances
Ensure accurate accounting for fixed assets, leases, prepayments, accruals, and intercompany transactions
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules for review
Support statutory reporting, tax and audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)



and internal control requirements
Collaborate closely with AP, AR and operational teams to resolve accounting matters
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in general ledger or financial accounting
Hands-on experience with Pronto Accounting System (essential or highly preferred)
Good working knowledge of IFRS/GAAP
Advanced Excel skills and solid systems aptitude
Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting
CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
