Allied Waste Services is seeking experienced, safety-focused Skip Truck Drivers to join our growing Adelaide operations. This is a full-time opportunity offering strong job security, competitive conditions, and long-term career progression within a well-established South Australian business.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Safely operate waste collection vehicles across commercial and residential sites
Collect, transport, and deliver waste to approved disposal and recycling facilities
Perform light lifting tasks as required for daily operations
Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate operational records
Comply with all road rules, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
Provide skilled, reliable, and courteous service to customers
What We’re Looking For
To be successful, you’ll bring:
A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence
Minimum 6 months’ HR driving experience
Solid knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
