Key responsibilities
Welding and fabricating structural steel to drawings and specifications
Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling steel components
Checking your work for accuracy, weld quality and finish
Working with the team to meet production deadlines safely
Keeping your work area and equipment organised and ready to go
About you
Proven welding and fabrication experience, with a strong focus on quality
The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
Energy, initiative and the ability to work independently
A reliable approach — you turn up, take ownership and follow through
A positive attitude and willingness to help your teammates
A strong commitment to protected work practices
A relevant trade qualification and structural steel experience will be highly regarded
