In this vital role, you'll work closely with our clients to deliver exceptional occupational therapy services that help them regain their independence and quality of life. What you'll be doing
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify clients' functional abilities, needs and goals
Develop and implement personalised treatment plans to help clients improve their physical, cognitive and psychosocial functioning
Provide hands-on therapy interventions such as activity-based training, adaptive equipment prescription and home modifications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists and speech pathologists, to deliver holistic care
Document client progress and outcomes in line with regulatory and organisational requirements
Participate in regular team meetings and career development activities
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Minimum 1 year experience working as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in a community or rehabilitation setting
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in using electronic medical records and data management systems
