We are seeking a highly organised Field Operations Support Officer to join a leading utilities organisation supporting essential field operations across Sydney.
This is a quick-paced coordination and administration role where you'll work closely with field crews, supervisors and operational teams to ensure work is scheduled, dispatched and completed efficiently. You'll play a key role in supporting daily operations, procurement activities, compliance requirements and general depot administration.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and dispatch work to field crews and technicians
Liaise with supervisors and operational teams regarding job allocation and progress
Provide day-to-day administrative support across depot operations
Assist with purchasing, procurement and invoice processing
Maintain accurate records, documentation and operational data
Support fleet, equipment and materials administration
Coordinate training, medicals and compliance-related activities
Assist with third-party damage claims by collating documentation and supporting information
Process work orders and support operational reporting requirements
Manage visitor access and provide general depot support as required
Undertake ad hoc administrative and operational tasks to support the wider team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in administration, operations support or coordination roles
Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven experience supporting operational or field-based teams
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
High attention to detail and robust problem-solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
