Air Conditioning Technician (Installers)
Adelaide | Full time | $50–$65 per hour + super + sign on bonus.

1KOMMA5° is looking for experienced Air Conditioning Technicians to join our Adelaide installation team. The role is mainly residential ducted and split installations, with some light commercial work.

1KOMMA5° installs air conditioning, solar, batteries, heat pumps & general electrical for homes and businesses across Australia. Our Adelaide air conditioning team has more than 15 years of local experience. As part of a larger national and international group, we have a steady flow of installation work all year round.

What we offer
$50–$65 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly + super
Company vehicle + fuel card, or a car allowance + fuel card if you prefer to use your own
Phone allowance
40 hour week with RDOs that can be taken whenever you like
Paid overtime available
$5,000 Sign on Bonus
Opportunities to grow your skills and train in a multi trade setting

The role
Install split and ducted systems in residential homes, plus some light commercial work
Commission current systems and make sure they’re running correctly before you leave site
Walk customers through how to use their recent system




Work with our Air Conditioning Manager and Coordinator, who handle job scheduling and have a broad range of technical experience to draw on.
Support and help train our apprentices and junior technicians

What you’ll need
Trade qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a licensed electrician with UEE20120 Certificate II in Split Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
Restricted Electrical Licence (unless you're a sparky with full)
Current driver’s licence
At least a years experience in air conditioning, including domestic split and ducted installations
Work Safely at Heights, EWP, Current LVR/CPR all preffered.

As much of the work is in customers’ homes, we’re looking for people who take pride in a neat installation, respect the customer’s property and can communicate with ease. Job reports are completed on SimPRO, so you’ll need to be comfortable with basic tech too.
