An exciting opportunity is available for acasual CSSD Technicianto join our friendly and supportive Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD).
Working as part of our CSSD team, you'll play a vital role in supporting secure patient care by ensuring reusable medical devices and surgical instruments are cleaned, inspected, sterilised, and available when needed.
Our department provides sterilisation services across multiple Ramsay hospital sites, making this an essential role within our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities
Reprocess reusable medical devices through decontamination, inspection, packing, sterilisation, and dispatch
Work collaboratively with your team to ensure surgical instruments and equipment are available to meet theatre and hospital requirements
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and infection prevention
Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting instrument trays, pushing trolleys, and standing for extended periods throughout your shift
Transport surgical instruments and equipment between Ramsay hospital sites when required

Availability to work a rotating 5-day roster, including afternoon and evening shifts
