The Learning Cottage is a privately owned, warm and welcoming68-place early childhood education and care service located in Wollongbar, Northern NSW.
We are currently seeking an enthusiasticEarly Childhood Teacher (ECT) or Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educatorto join our established team.
We can offerpermanent part-time or full-time employment, depending on the successful applicant's availability.
For part-time applicants, we are looking for someone who can work aminimum of 3 days per week.

About the position
You will work collaboratively with our experienced educators and leadership team to provide high-quality early childhood education and care.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality, play-based educational programs aligned with theEarly Years Learning Framework
Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing
Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
Creating safe, engaging and inclusive learning environments
Contributing to curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice




Working collaboratively with our educators and pedagogical leadership team
Demonstrating a strong commitment tochild safety, child protection and children's wellbeing
Contributing to the ongoing quality improvement of the service
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Holds anACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification OR Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care/equivalent approved qualification
Is seekingfull-time employment or a minimum of 3 days per week
Holds a currentWorking with Children Check
Is passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and care
Has strong written and verbal communication skills
Is positive, reliable and professional
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
Is committed to creating an environment where children feelsafe, respected and heard
First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications are required.
