About us:

Bluewater State School is located on the banks of Bluewater Creek, 32 kilometres north of Townsville.

The school was opened in June 1957. There were 19 students when the school opened. The original school building and original Principal's house still stand today.

Currently we have approximately 350 students from Prep-Year 6 enrolled at Bluewater State School.

Our school is dedicated to providing a quality personalised education for each and every student. Our school motto,
