Mechanical Engineer Permanent Role $95-$115K PA Pinkenba QLD POSITION We have a position for a Mechanical Engineer in a full-time, ongoing position at Pinkenba Qld ****, working on pressure vessels, process piping and modular skid packages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and review mechanical designs, engineering calculations, drawings and material specifications.
Plan and oversee fabrication, assembly, installation, testing and commissioning.
Investigate equipment faults, develop maintenance plans and improve plant performance.
Coordinate with workshop teams, clients and suppliers to meet engineering standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
At least one year of relevant post-qualification mechanical engineering experience.




Knowledge of fabrication, welding, mechanical equipment and applicable engineering standards.
Competence in engineering calculations and CAD drawing review, with robust communication and problem-solving skills.
DESIRABLE Experience in mining, refinery, petrochemical, oil and gas or coal seam gas projects.
Experience with modular process skids, pressure vessels, high-pressure piping, structural supports and multidisciplinary electrical or instrumentation interfaces.
SALARY $95,000 to $115,000 plus superannuation per annum, negotiated based on your experience.
