This role is responsible for assisting the Greens Superintendent with the maintenance, operation and management of the Townsville Golf Course, in accordance with the policies of the Management Committee and relevant state and federal legislation. Key responsibilities Assist the Greens Superintendent in establishing and implementing maintenance programs, which will achieve course quality including labour, machinery, pesticide application, maintenance procedures, irrigation, watering, lawn mowing, line marking, weed spraying, turf laying and fertilizing Perform basic maintenance on specific equipment and tools including lawn mowers, brush cutters, chainsaws, whipper snippers Ensure regular maintenance of bunkers Assist the Greens Superintendent in ensuring hole and tee placements are set Maintain general grounds and surrounds of the Club including carparks and gardens including basic building, plumbing, pruning, rubbish collection and disposal Monitor stock supplies including chemical and fertilizer availability and storage Maintain stock and demonstrate record keeping of chemicals,
