M365 Lead Engineer | Microsoft 365 Architecture Security Lead the architecture, engineering and delivery of a secure Microsoft 365 collaboration platform within a complex Australian Government environment.
This senior technical leadership role involves overseeing M365 platform integration, federated identity, access management and security governance, while coordinating a team of four M365 Engineers.
Take ownership of engineering outcomes through to project completion.
Location: ACT Contract Duration: ASAP commencement through to 30 June **** Security Clearance Requirement: NV1 Closing Date: 10:00am, 6 November **** Essential Tasks Lead the architecture, design and technical delivery of a secure Microsoft 365 collaboration environment.
Oversee platform integration with multi-cloud services, federated identity, role-based access controls and data segregation.
Coordinate four M365 Engineers, manage technical risks and ensure engineering delivery aligns with project milestones.
Provide technical governance, engage with Cyber GRC and business stakeholders, and oversee service transition and sustainment.
Key Criteria Extensive experience leading Microsoft 365 engineering,



solution architecture and technical delivery within complex enterprise environments.
Robust understanding of M365 tenant architecture, identity and access management, cloud integration and secure collaboration platforms.
Proven ability to provide technical governance, manage engineering risks and coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams.
Desirable experience in M365 tenant design, landing zones, licensing optimisation, change management, resilience and platform lifecycle management.
