Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant (Physiotherapist) – Bundaberg LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN KINNECT is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our Bundaberg team as a full-time Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant.
You'll use your clinical skills to help injured workers return to safe, sustainable work, through a client-centred approach that promotes health and wellbeing.
Your duties will include: Assessing injured workers to determine the best strategies for their return to work Visiting workplaces to understand the barriers injured workers face, and educating employers on injury prevention Developing and reviewing graded return-to-work plans aligned with certified work capacity Case managing complex injuries and coordinating with treating doctors, health professionals, employers and insurers Providing clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing You'll also partner with organisations to deliver services such as: Pre-employment assessments, including drug and alcohol testing, audiometry, spirometry, vision and functional testing Functional capacity evaluations Job dictionaries and manual task risk assessments Manual handling training, and stretching and warm-up programs Ergonomic assessments in workplace, home and vehicle settings WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS JOB Quality over quantity:
