Bambini Early Learning Centre – Brighton VIC
Bambini Early Learning on Centre Road, Brighton East, is a 112-place centre looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our team part time. You'll help make mealtimes something children look forward to a time to connect, try new foods, learn about nutrition and get involved in cooking.
This is a part-time role, Monday- Friday, 7:30am to 2:30pm.
Bambini Childcare Group offers a strong play-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Our children enjoy beautiful indoor and outdoor play spaces and a range of extra-curricular activities, including music, sport and science.

About you
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or a hospitality qualification is preferred but not essential. We'll also consider relevant experience.
Food Handlers certificate
Food Safety Supervisor certificate
Strong knowledge of, and experience managing, children's allergies, intolerances and medical dietary needs
Experience with protected, hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks
Knowledge of the Food Act **** and Food Safety Programs
Experience cooking for large groups,



ideally with menus that are nutritious and suit different ages
Positive, reliable and organised, and you enjoy working as part of a team
Willing to learn and keen to become part of the Bambini family
Current Working with Children Check
Current HLTAID012 First Aid (education and care setting), including CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management
