Full Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established organisation on a permanent basis. This opportunity is suited to a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is looking to join a collaborative and supportive team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services across a large employee workforce. Working within an established payroll team, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and exceptional stakeholder service.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end payroll processing
- Managing new starters, terminations and payroll changes
- Processing leave, allowances and payroll adjustments
- Interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Responding to employee payroll queries
- Payroll tax, superannuation and compliance processing
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Maintaining payroll records and data integrity




- Supporting payroll process improvements

About You

- Previous end-to-end payroll experience
- Strong payroll legislation and compliance knowledge
- Experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Desirable experience with Preceda and/or Dayforce
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment
- Intermediate Excel skills
