WestLink Workforce - FIFO from Perth - Multiple Opportunities - Mining & Oil & Gas

WestLink Workforce is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Riggers to join our workforce across multiple mining, resources and oil & gas projects throughout Western Australia.

With several shutdowns scheduled towards the end of 2026 and continuing into 2027, we are looking to build a strong pool of skilled Riggers for upcoming project opportunities.

Whether you are an experienced shutdown Rigger or looking to secure ongoing project work, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

- Perform dogging and rigging activities across mining and oil & gas projects.
- Safely sling, lift, move and position heavy equipment and materials.
- Select and inspect lifting equipment, slings, shackles and associated gear.
- Work alongside crane operators, tradespeople and site personnel.
- Follow lift plans, SWMS, JHAs and site-specific safety procedures.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain lifting equipment.
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and operational efficiency.
- Work effectively within shutdown crews and project teams.

Skills & Experience

- Current High Risk Work Licence - Rigging (RB, RI or RA as applicable to the role).
- Previous experience within mining,



resources or oil & gas environments.
- Demonstrated shutdown experience highly regarded.
- Robust understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and in fast-paced site environments.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Highly Regarded

- Current Rio Tinto inductions.
- Previous experience on Rio Tinto sites.
- Additional site inductions and mining experience.
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets.
