What does the job look like?

We are looking for an experienced finance or commercial professional to join our Transport Commercial team on a 6-month Max Term contract. Supporting a large and complex transport portfolio, you’ll combine financial analysis, commercial modelling and operational insight to understand what’s driving performance and help shape better commercial decisions.

This is a hands on role where no two days are the same. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work confidently across a varied portfolio and partner closely with Senior Commercial and Transport leaders.

Key areas:

- Analyse financial and operational results, identify P&L; risks and provide clear commercial commentary to management
- Prepare customer rate requests, commercial calculations and new business transport models
- Manage billing documentation, invoicing calculations, fuel levies and rise-and-fall adjustments
- Deliver weekly KPI, contract performance and financial reporting across the transport portfolio
- Support commercial governance across customer contracts,



rate cards and portfolios of varying size and complexity
- Partner with General Managers, National Business Managers and operational teams to identify issues, improve performance and support commercial decision making

Are you the one?

You’ll be an experienced finance or commercial professional who enjoys getting into the detail while understanding the bigger operational picture. You’ll be comfortable working independently, navigating competing priorities and turning complex financial information into practical commercial insights.

Transport or logistics experience will be highly regarded, but it isn’t essential. We’re equally interested in robust finance & commercial professionals from manufacturing, FMCG or broader supply chain environments who bring transferable commercial capability.

You can demonstrate:

- Demonstrated experience in a mid to senior level finance or commercial role, with strong exposure to financial analysis, reporting and business performance

- Strong P&L; analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting or commercial modelling experience
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability, supported by intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- SAP experience within a finance or commercial environment will be highly regarded
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline




- Experience partnering with operational stakeholders and using financial insights to support business performance and decision-making
