Project Manager – Tier 3 builder
Brisbane / Queensland | New Build Construction | Projects up to $30M
Well known tier 3 builder who operate in NSW and QLD is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Queensland team, delivering a range of new-build construction projects across the state.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from early planning and procurement through to construction, delivery and handover.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience delivering new-build projects in the $20M–$30M range, with backgrounds in education, retail or industrial construction particularly relevant.
The Role
Reporting to senior management, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing new-build construction projects from commencement through to completion and handover.
- Leading and coordinating Site Managers, Foremen, subcontractors and consultants.
- Overseeing project programmes, budgets, procurement and cost control.
- Managing client relationships and ensuring expectations are consistently met.
- Driving quality, safety and construction standards across each project.
- Identifying and managing project risks, variations and contractual matters.
- Working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure successful project outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial construction industry.
- A track record of delivering new-build projects valued between $20M and $30M.
- Experience across education, retail, industrial or similar commercial construction sectors.
- Strong commercial, contractual and programme management skills.
- The ability to lead project teams and drive positive outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A robust focus on safety, quality and project delivery.
