An exciting opportunity is available for a friendly, motivated Pharmacist to join a welcoming and collaborative pharmacy team. This busy community pharmacy prides itself on delivering quality patient care, professional services and building lasting relationships with its customers.
Job Specification
Working alongside an experienced dispensary team, you will be responsible for accurate dispensing, patient counselling and providing professional pharmacy services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing and checking prescriptions accurately.
- Providing patient counselling and S2/S3 recommendations.
- Delivering vaccinations and UTI consultations, with training available.
- Supporting Webster packing and aged care services.
- Providing medication management and other professional services.
Roster & Work Hours
This position is ideally full-time, although permanent part-time will be considered for the right Pharmacist.
A second Pharmacist is generally rostered during weekday daytime hours,
although some closing and weekend shifts may involve working as the sole Pharmacist.
Skills Required
- Current general AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
- Australian working rights.
- Minimum 12 months' experience as a Pharmacist in Australia.
- Strong communication and patient counselling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively within a busy, supportive team.
Experience in vaccinations, UTI consultations, Webster packing, aged care or methadone services would be advantageous but is not essential.
