Eureka Landscapes is looking for reliable, motivated people to join our commercial landscape maintenance teams. We have multiple opportunities available for experienced Landscape Gardeners, Senior Landscape Gardeners and a Maintenance 2IC.

Positions Available

Maintenance 2IC – Second in Charge - A hands-on senior position for an experienced landscape maintenance professional ready to take on additional responsibility. Working alongside the Team Leader, you'll help coordinate daily activities, provide direction to team members and ensure maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with daily planning, task allocation and team coordination.

- Leading by example and working hands-on alongside the team.

- Supporting junior staff and apprentices with training and development.

- Monitoring quality, productivity and site presentation.

- Identifying horticultural, irrigation and maintenance issues.

- Assisting with site records, equipment management and safety requirements.

- Stepping up to support the Team Leader when required.

You'll need strong practical horticultural knowledge, confidence operating commercial maintenance equipment and the ability to guide a small team.

Senior Landscape Gardener - Ideal for an experienced Landscape Gardener or qualified horticultural professional who knows their trade and takes pride in delivering quality work. You'll undertake a range of commercial landscape maintenance activities, applying your experience and technical knowledge to maintain landscaped areas to a high standard.

Responsibilities include:

- Advanced garden, turf and landscape maintenance.

- Pruning, hedging, mowing, edging and detailed horticultural work.

- Plant identification, plant health and soil management.

- Irrigation inspections,



troubleshooting and minor repairs within your competency.

- Weed, pest and disease identification and control.

- Safe operation of commercial gardening equipment and machinery.

- Supporting less experienced team members when required.

We're looking for people who can work confidently with minimal supervision, recognise maintenance issues and understand what quality commercial landscape maintenance looks like.

Landscape Gardeners - Opportunities are also available for Landscape Gardeners with varying levels of experience.

Your day-to-day work will include:

- Mowing, edging, whipper snipping and hedging.

- Pruning, planting, mulching and weeding.

- Garden, turf and general landscape maintenance.

- Irrigation and watering.

- Weed and pest control.

- Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.

- Keeping sites clean, tidy and well presented.

Previous experience is preferred, but we're also interested in reliable people with a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

What We're Looking For

Depending on the position, we're looking for:

- Experience in commercial landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture.

- Strong practical knowledge of plants, turf, irrigation and garden maintenance.

- Experience operating commercial mowers, brushcutters, hedgers and other maintenance equipment.

- Certificate III in Parks and Gardens or a related qualification (highly regarded, particularly for senior positions).

- Current driver's licence, preferably manual.

- Current White Card, or willingness to obtain one before commencing.

- Good work ethic, reliability and the ability to work as part of a team.

- A positive attitude towards safety, quality and getting the job done properly.

For the 2IC position, previous experience coordinating staff,



allocating tasks or supporting a Team Leader will be highly regarded.
