About the Role

As a Room Leader, you'll lead by example, mentor your team and take ownership of creating a welcoming, engaging learning environment.

You'll:

- Be a hands-on mentor who models what great teaching and teamwork look like

- Support educators with confidence, kindness and clear communication

- Recognise each team member's strengths and help them grow and develop their practice

- Encourage creativity, collaboration and fresh ideas within your team

- Work together to create learning environments where children feel safe,



confident, and have a genuine sense of belonging

- Plan and deliver meaningful, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

- Maintain high standards across programming, documentation and daily practices

- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

About You

We'd love to hear from you if you:

- Hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher recognised qualification

- Have at least 3 years' experience as a Room Leader in early childhood education

- Have a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Assessment and Rating process

- Are confident using digital documentation and learning platforms

- Can guide a team, make decisions and lead by example

- Value teamwork, respectful relationships and open communication

- Bring creativity, initiative and a genuine passion for early childhood education

- Have your own interests, ideas or talents you'd love to share with the children and team
