Located alongside the picturesque Thorndon Park Reserve in Newton, just 15 minutes from Adelaide's CBD, Rezz Hotel is a leading hospitality destination offering quality dining, entertainment and function facilities.
We are seeking an
experienced, motivated and commercially minded Restaurant & Functions Senior Floor Manager
to lead our floor operations and deliver the exceptional customer service Rezz is known for.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role — not an office position.
Working closely with the owners and food and beverage management team, you will oversee daily restaurant, café and function operations, lead and train staff, and ensure consistently high standards of customer service.
You will also coordinate functions of all sizes, manage bookings, maximise sales opportunities and contribute to the smooth and profitable operation of the business.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with:
Proven senior supervisory or management experience in restaurants, cafés and functions.
Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train,
motivate and manage staff.
Experience coordinating functions, managing reservations and maximising sales opportunities.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Proficiency in POS, booking and staff rostering systems.
An understanding of budgets, labour costs and operational efficiency.
A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
Knowledge of food safety and relevant hospitality regulations.
A professional presentation, positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
The ability to speak a second language would be an advantage.
