We're seeking an experienced
Centre Director
to join a 69 placed long day care in the Fraser Coast region. This is an opportunity for a confident leader who thrives on building strong teams, setting clear expectations and creating a positive, high-performing culture.
The centre is entering an exciting new chapter, with significant investment planned and strong support structures already in place. You'll play a key role in leading the team through change while ensuring high-quality outcomes for children, families and educators.
About the Role As Centre Director, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service, leading a team of educators and ensuring the centre continues to deliver exceptional care and education.
You'll be joining a service with a strong foundation and a dedicated team, while also having the opportunity to make a genuine impact on culture, performance and team engagement.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading the overall operations of the centre
Supporting, mentoring and developing educators
Building a positive and collaborative team culture
Maintaining high standards of compliance and quality
Developing strong relationships with children, families and the wider community




Driving occupancy and supporting the continued success of the service
Leading the team through an exciting period of growth and change
We're looking for a leader who is:
Experienced working as a Centre Director
Professional, confident and approachable
A strong people leader who can unite teams and build engagement
Comfortable having difficult conversations and setting explicit expectations
Organised, resilient and solutions-focused
Passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
Requirements
Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (minimum)
Current Working with Children Check
Strong understanding of the NQF, National Law and Regulations
Demonstrated leadership experience within an early childhood setting
