We are currently seeking experienced Fleet Allocators to join a busy and growing transport company based in Altona, Melbourne.
We have two positions available, with 1 x AM Allocator and 1 x PM Allocator required.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in transport operations, fleet allocation, manifesting and transport administration who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocating daily work and deliveries to drivers.
- Preparing and managing transport manifests.
- Coordinating fleet movements and driver schedules.
- Planning and optimising delivery runs and routes.
- Completing general transport administration and data entry.
- Processing invoices and assisting with billing enquiries.
- Checking consignment notes and transport documentation.
- Liaising with drivers, customers and internal operations teams.
- Monitoring deliveries and resolving operational issues.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Previous experience in a transport fleet allocation role.
- Strong manifesting experience – essential.
- Previous experience with transport administration and invoicing.
- Solid understanding of transport operations and fleet coordination.
- Experience allocating drivers, vehicles and daily workloads.
- Solid computer skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced transport environment.
