Proslab Dental Laboratory is seeking an organised, detail-oriented and proactive Dispatch & Accounts Clerk to join their team in Canterbury.
This full-time position combines accounts administration and dispatch coordination. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of their laboratory and providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
Accounts & Administration
- Manage customer accounts and tend to client queries in an efficient and timely manner.
- Process banking, account reconciliation, debt collection, supplier invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
- Liaise with dental suppliers regarding stock orders.
Dispatch & Coordination
- Attend to customer enquiries and maintain strong client relationships.
· Professional phone etiquette, articulate and well spoken.
- Coordinate dispatch operations, including company drivers and external couriers.
- Ensure accurate data entry of cases and digital files.
- Assist with the general day-to-day operations of the dispatch department.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in accounts, administration or a similar role.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- A professional approach to handling confidential information.
A Year 12 qualification or equivalent is required. Qualifications in accounts or administration are advantageous.
