Validation Engineer – Commissioning and Qualification [12-month Contract]

About the role

As a Validation Engineer reporting to the Validation Manager, you will:

- Generate and execute commissioning and qualification protocols/reports for manufacturing equipment (filling machines, autoclaves, centrifuges, filtration systems, computerised PLC systems, HVAC systems, etc.), cleanroom facilities and service equipment (WFI, steam, air compressor etc.).

- Conduct inspections of equipment, piping, electrical, instrumentation with operational start-ups and troubleshooting.

- Writing / reviewing operating instructions and assist operators with training and troubleshooting.

Skills & experience

To be successful in this role you will need to be results driven, energetic and a practical self- starter with the following attributes:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical / Mechanical / Biotech / Instrumentation Engineering.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commissioning and qualification in the pharmaceutical industry (desirable).

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.

- Advanced Microsoft software for document handling such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and familiar with AutoCAD for drawing reviews.





- Positive knowledge of GMP regulatory / guidance documents such as EU PICS, ISPE and APVMA.

- Team player, keen to learn.

- Attention to detail and ability to think logically to drive and co-ordinate the activities in a multi-tasking manner.
