About The Company

Our client is a young, contemporary law firm built for the way lawyers actually want to work. They run entirely on cloud-based systems, they are down to earth and easy to approach, and they trust their people to do great work without anyone looking over their shoulder.

The team works remotely across South East Queensland, but nobody works in isolation. About The Opportunity

This is a full-time, fully remote role for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate who is ready to run their own files with genuine autonomy.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Running your own files end to end, managing your workload and deadlines with high-level supervision rather than micromanagement
- Delivering practical, workable outcomes for clients, not just technically correct advice
- Meeting an achievable daily billable target of 5.5 hours
- Building and protecting long-term client relationships
- Managing file management, billing and client service through cloud-based practice management systems
- Using sound judgement to make confident decisions on your own matters




- Helping a growing firm grow, and backing your team while you do it

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

- 5+ years post-admission experience at Associate or Senior Associate level
- Hold a current practising certificate in Queensland
- Live in Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast
- Commercial litigation experience, with building and construction, general commercial, property or employment law highly regarded
- Experience from a big-firm background, ideally mid- to top-tier, national or a large CBD firm would be beneficial
- Think commercially, with a clear grasp of budgets, billing, client retention and how a law firm really operates
- Be a good human above all: down to earth, positive, loyal, disciplined when working remotely and genuinely team-oriented
