Transgrid operates and manages the major high voltage electricity transmission network in NSW and the ACT, connecting generators, distributors and major end users.

Our core role is to connect electricity consumers to a safe, secure and reliable network through efficient maintenance, proficient operation of assets and prudent investment. Our network is the backbone of the NEM, enabling energy trading between Australia's three largest states along the east coast and supporting the competitive wholesale electricity market

About the role

Join Transgrid as a Works Coordinator and play a pivotal role in delivering the safe and reliable operation of Australia's critical energy infrastructure.

With opportunities available across Yass, Sydney, Wagga Wagga, Newcastle and Tamworth, you'll be at the centre of field operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll play a key part in coordinating field operations and supporting the safe, efficient delivery of work across the transmission network by:

- Coordinating resources and schedules to support field operations.

- Prioritising and manage work to ensure effective delivery outcomes.

- Supporting frontline teams with planning and operational coordination.

- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

- Partnering with Field Managers to drive continuous improvement and network performance.

- Advanced Diploma qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

- Strong experience in electricity transmission operations and project delivery.

- Sound knowledge of transmission networks and stakeholder requirements.

- Experience using ERP and works management systems.

- Strong planning, management and commercial acumen.

- Experience applying risk management principles and practices.
