We're partnering with a highly regarded business to recruit a Company Accountant for its Brisbane-based finance team.

The business is looking for someone who is a creative thinker, takes initiative and challenges the status quo. Someone who wants to embed themselves as the go-to in the business for forward thinking outlook, and general advice. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing the insights and analysis needed to support performance.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become a trusted adviser to the leadership team, gaining exposure to both day-to-day financial management and longer-term strategic planning across a diverse group structure.

The Role:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Variance analysis and performance reporting
- Financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Business partnering with operational/corporate stakeholders
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end ownership
- Preparation of statutory reporting and compliance obligations
- Monitoring key KPI's and providing commercial insight to stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting,



systems and financial processes
- Assisting with investment analysis and strategic projects
- Managing intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Supporting consolidated reporting requirements across the group

About You:

- CA or CPA qualifications (or close to completion)
- Experience in a Company Accountant, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant or similar position
- Strong management reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability
- Advanced Excel skills
- A commercial mindset with the ability to provide meaningful insights beyond the numbers
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
- A proactive and hands-on approach
- Previous experience working within a multi-entity workplace or complex group structure (highly regarded)

Highly Regarded:

- Experience working within a privately owned or SME environment and a hands on approach
- Experience supporting multiple entities, trusts, investment vehicles or property structures
