The Role

Working within a busy industrial environment, you'll play a key role in keeping heavy fixed plant and equipment operating safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on maintenance position offering a great mix of preventative maintenance, mechanical fault finding and breakdown repairs.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance

- Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs to minimise downtime

- Maintaining conveyors, bearings, rollers,



gearboxes, drive systems and rotating equipment

- Completing bearing replacements, installations and adjustments

- Inspecting plant and identifying worn or damaged components

- Carrying out mechanical repairs, modifications and equipment improvements

- Working alongside other trades to repair and fabricate components

- Supporting plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives

- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting faults

- Following strict safety procedures and maintaining high workmanship standards

About You

We're looking for a reliable, mechanically minded tradesperson who enjoys hands-on maintenance and thrives in an industrial environment.

To be successful, you'll need:

- Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitting, Plant Mechanic or equivalent trade qualification

- Experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, processing, production or materials-handling environments

- Strong experience maintaining conveyors, bearings and rotating equipment

- Proven mechanical fault-finding and breakdown maintenance skills

- Confidence completing preventative maintenance and plant inspections

- Working at Heights certification

- Current EWP licence

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport

- Strong safety awareness and a proactive attitude

- Ability to work independently and within a maintenance team

- Full Australian work rights
