DescriptionWe currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic customer and safety-focused Control Room Operator.
Reporting to the Security Manager, the purpose of the Control Room Operator position is to provide for the safety and security of persons, premises, and assets of the site, whilst providing exceptional customer service to all our customers and stakeholders.Remuneration: Base rate of $***** plus all penalties and built in overtime.
Location: Highly Regarded University Campus in Geelong12-Hour Shifts Rotating Roster (Days & Nights)Availability: Must be available 24/7 The Security Officer responsibilities include (but not limited to):Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholdersMonitor and interrogate CCTV Perform unlock and lock up of access points within the siteAlarm MonitoringIncident response, resolution, and reportingManagement of contractors and visitors onsite Skills and Experience VIC Security Licence (Unarmed Guard, Crowd Control, Control Room and Monitoring)Current Level 2 First Aid (HLTAID011)Working with children check (employee) or willing to apply for oneCurrent knowledge of work health and safety and risk management practicesKnowledge of current industry standards and requirementsProven experience in emergency response proceduresHighly developed customer service skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsProven ability to understand, interpret and follow policies, procedures, and instructionsHigh level of computer skills (including all Microsoft products) Benefits and CultureSupportive and inclusive culture focused on innovative service deliveryA professional and safe working environmentAccess to employee benefits and entitlementsAn Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is available to employees and their familiesEmphasis on learning and development We pay 3% above award rates You get seven days off every fortnight and a long weekend every other week.
