We also welcome applications from individuals who are willing to relocate to the region and become part of the local community.As a key member of the Eva Copper Alliance team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality mine planning and mine engineering processes to support safe, efficient operations and ensure our workforce meets Thiess and industry standards.
Working a 2/1 roster and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, your duties will include:Support the implementation of company systems and policiesAssist with development of work schedules and construction progress trackingTrack daily costs against budget and work with site supervisors to improve efficienciesMonitor quality to ensure client expectations and local authority standards are metProvide engineering support to on-the-ground supervisory staffPromote the Thiess Brand with external stake holders including clients and their consultantsMaintain open communications and report all issues outside your authority to your Construction ManagerAbout the EmployerAbout the Project Working in a strategic Alliance with Thiess and Harmony, you will form part of a collaborative team, driven by shared objectives and values to deliver operational excellence at the Eva Copper Mine Project.

new-to-industry and Indigenous workforce development and meaningful engagement in the local community.

The Eva Copper Mine Project is located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People in Northwest Queensland, approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.
The Project is an iron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.
