KIBY is an Indigenous-owned, family-run transport and logistics business based in Bayswater.
We provide linehaul, heavy haulage and project logistics services across Perth, the Pilbara and regional Western Australia.About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Finance & Accounts Officer to take ownership of our day-to-day finance function as KIBY grows.
You will work directly with the Managing Director and alongside our Admin Manager and operations team.This is a hands-on role.
You will keep Xero accurate, manage money coming in and going out, check supplier charges and help us improve our financial processes.
We want someone who will give the Managing Director a clear view of debtors, upcoming payments and costs needing attention.What you'll doManage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment allocation and overdue account follow-upManage accounts payable, including checking bills, reconciling supplier statements and preparing payments for approvalMaintain Xero and complete bank and account reconciliationsCheck supplier charges against agreed rates, purchase orders and job records, including fuel, subcontractor and trailer hire costsAssist with payroll,
timesheets and allowancesPut practical processes in place for bill approvals, payments and record keepingProvide regular updates on debtors, upcoming payments and cost issuesWork with our team and external accountants to resolve queriesAbout youStrong hands-on experience across accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliationsProficient in XeroConfident checking costs and following discrepancies through to resolutionOrganised, approachable and comfortable working in a small teamAble to work independently and keep the Managing Director informedTransport and logistics experience is highly regarded.

This is a full time role based at our Bayswater office.
Salary will reflect your experience and the responsibility you are ready to take on.We are open to discussing flexible start and finish times, including hours around school drop-off and pick-up, while meeting the needs of the full-time role.
