An exciting opportunity is available for a casual CSSD Technician to join our friendly and supportive Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD).
Working as part of our CSSD team, you'll play a vital role in supporting safe patient care by ensuring reusable medical devices and surgical instruments are cleaned, inspected, sterilised, and available when needed.
Our department provides sterilisation services across multiple Ramsay hospital sites, making this an essential role within our surgical services.Key ResponsibilitiesReprocess reusable medical devices through decontamination, inspection, packing, sterilisation, and dispatchWork collaboratively with your team to ensure surgical instruments and equipment are available to meet theatre and hospital requirementsMaintain high standards of quality, safety, and infection preventionPerform manual handling tasks, including lifting instrument trays, pushing trolleys,
